Mobile app studio · Charting since 2024

Every great app
starts as a spark.
We chart the rest of the sky.

Starmap Labs designs, engineers, and grows distinctive apps for iOS and Android — blending product strategy, interface craft, and native-grade engineering into one steady course.

A small studio navigating by
craft, curiosity, and evidence.

We are designers and engineers who treat every app like a voyage. No bloated hand-offs between strangers — the same small crew charts your idea, builds it, and stays aboard after launch.

Our own apps live alongside our partner work, which keeps us honest: we ship under the same store review guidelines, retention curves, and rating screens your product will face.

Four legs, one plotted course.

  1. I

    Chart

We align on the destination — users, risks, scope — before a single pixel is drawn.

  2. II

    Draft

Prototypes and motion studies in your hand early, so arguments happen against something real.

  3. III

    Build

Weekly builds on real devices, with accessibility and performance treated as features.

  4. IV

    Orbit

We launch, measure, and keep steering — releases in weeks, not “someday”.

How we keep north.

Craft over noise

We ship fewer things, finished. Polish is the product — especially in the settings screen nobody planned to love.

Small crew, full ownership

You talk to the people doing the work. No account layers, no ticket queues between idea and engineer.

Evidence at every orbit

Instinct starts the sentence; prototypes, analytics, and real-device testing finish it.

Built to be remembered

If the only notable thing about an app is its icon color, we haven't done the job. Personality is a feature.

Before you ship.

What does Starmap Labs actually do?

We're a mobile app studio: we ship our own products and build apps with a small number of partners each year. Strategy, design, engineering, and launch work happen under one roof.

Which platforms and stacks do you work with?

iOS and Android, using Swift, Kotlin, or Flutter depending on the product. We recommend the stack after understanding the destination — not before.

How does a typical collaboration work?

Usually a fixed-scope voyage from Chart to Launch with weekly builds, followed by an optional monthly retainer for live operations. Smaller audits and design sprints are also welcome.

Do you only publish your own apps?

No — our own apps keep us close to the realities of the stores, and we deliberately keep room each quarter for partner products with ambitious teams.

How do we start?

Send a short note to contact@starmaplabs.com describing the spark. We reply within two business days with honest first thoughts and possible next steps.
