How we read the signals.

This Privacy Policy explains what information the Starmap Labs company website (the “Site”) collects when you visit starmaplabs.com, how we use it, and the choices available to you. This policy covers the Site only; mobile applications published by Starmap Labs provide their own in-app privacy notices.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you choose to send

• Email enquiries. The Site does not host a contact form. When you email support@starmaplabs.com, we receive your email address, the subject and message you write, and any details you choose to include.
• Business correspondence. If you engage us for a project, we may additionally collect the contact and project information reasonably needed to provide our services under a separate agreement.

1.2 Information collected automatically

Visiting any website generates basic technical information. When your browser loads the Site, our hosting provider automatically records standard server logs, which may include:

• IP address and approximate geographic region derived from it;
• Browser type and version, operating system, and screen size;
• Referring / exit pages, pages requested, and request timestamps.

These logs are used to operate and secure the Site, diagnose failures, and prevent abuse. They are not combined with data from advertising networks.

Our own scripts do not send behavioural data to advertising or analytics platforms.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

The Site does not set advertising, tracking, or cross-site cookies, and our scripts do not write identifiers to your browser's local storage. Your browser or our service providers may use strictly-necessary technical storage to deliver requested resources (for example, font caching). Disabling such storage in your browser settings will not prevent you from reading the Site.

5. Sharing & Selling

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-app or cross-site behavioural advertising. Information may be disclosed if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Starmap Labs, our clients, or visitors.

6. Data Retention

• Enquiry emails are retained for as long as reasonably needed to respond and maintain business records, after which they are deleted or anonymized.
• Server logs are retained on the hosting provider's standard short-term cycle for security and troubleshooting, then deleted or aggregated.

7. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you have sent us, or object to certain processing. Because the Site has no user accounts, most requests can be handled simply by emailing support@starmaplabs.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

8. Children's Privacy

The Site is a business-to-business studio website and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Site. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. International Visitors

The Site is operated internationally. If you visit from a region with its own data-protection requirements, information you send may be processed in the country where our providers operate. We take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards apply to such transfers under applicable law.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to a static marketing website — including encrypted transport (HTTPS) and access-limited business email. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
